I began my musical journey with a cheap snare drum at the age of 13. It was love at first Paradiddle. Pretty much sums it up – Finally got my 1st drum kit soon after and have been in some type of band ever since.
My Musical experience includes endless garage bands, Triton College Community Jazz Band (Highly Recommended!) Many nights at open mic. Jazz clubs, Hard rock Muscle Rockers, Crucifix in the early 90’s, Space-Rockers, Equinox and Alt-Band Icaru’s Crash are the ones that stand out and influenced me the most.
Drummers I listen to – Vinnie Colaiuta, Tony Williams and Mark Craney not to mention everyone before and after. Then I found my musical soul mates in Joy Missile, where it seems everything I’ve learned and done has come to a glorious head – Listen to this band!
