Dave Bills

Dave Bills has been playing in bands for over 20 years, and has the $9.50 in gross income to prove it. He started with classical piano lessons like every other kid, but left Beethoven in the dust as soon as he realized he could write a halfway decent song himself. He met Sean in high school, and they went on to play in several cover bands through college until their last cover band (the Cereal Killers) mutated into an original hard rock quintet called Zoot. Chris Payne from Q101 featured this band several times on his local music showcase whilst their popularity grew after shows at the Dome Room and Martyrs. When the band broke up, Dave moved on to join Jon in the Time Beings, adding keys to an already potent power-pop combo. After some great performances at the House of Blues and the World Music Theatre, Dave left to spend some quality time with Seven Day Run, and formed Joy Missile on the side with Jon. Once they brought in Ed and Jeff, all

they needed was a decent drummer. It took three tries, but an ad at Guitar Center put them together at last with Jeff… and the ‘Missile has since bloomed into the lovely rock blossom you hear before you today.
